Bought a new TV. Had it a month.
Took it back in January this year as it was not working and still under warranty. It's nearly end of March still no tv back or a credit note. When we called in. It turns out that weeks later they never returned the remote to the supplier but we are still out of pocket and our account has not been corrected.
To make matters worse, they still have an oven of ours since December. Stay away from Hi fi Corp. Better quality appliances at a China town.
Everything that we have purchased from them has gone back for repairs and now they don't worry about your problems just as long as you pay. Pathetic service
Preferred solution: An apology, a credit note as well as being inconvenienced

BAD SERVICE, BROKEN PROMISES AND USELESS TRACKING
8 DAYS SINCE MY ONLINE ORDER PLACED. NO PRODUCTS RECEIVED.
ONE OF 4 ITEMS WAS SENT OUT FOR DELIVERY BUT ARRIVED DAMAGED - I SENT IT BACK.
THE VERY SAME DAMAGED ITEM WAS SENT OUT AGAIN THE NEXT DAY AND AGAIN I SENT IT BACK.
SINCE THEN HIFI CORPORATION COULD NOT CONFIRM WHEN THE RETURNED ITEM OR ANY OF THE OTHER OUSTANDING ITEMS WILL BE DELIVERED.
ONLINE TRACKING DOESNT WORK.
PROMISES FOR CALL BACK IS A HOAX.
CALL CENTER TAKES FOREVER TO ANSWER AND THEN CANNOT GIVE FEEDBACK/ ANSWERS.
ESCALATED THE NON-DELIVERY ISSUE 3 DAYS AGO, STILL CANNOT GET ANSWERS. EVEN CALL CENTRE FOR ONLINE ORDERS CANNOT ASSIST.

Appallingly bad after sales service
I bought a brand new Defy DGS679 gas oven. After delivery I had a registered gas installer install it, the ignition system to ignite the gas work with normal 3pronged household plug.
The moment it was plugged into the socket it tripped the electricity of the home. I immediately logged a complaint. It took them a whole week to eventually respond to my request, where upon I was informed, I had to wait so they will log a technician with Defy "in due course". I also tried to log the defective oven to Defy directly, and they refused to do anything as it was apparently up to HIFI corp.
to log the defect. My family have now been without means to prepare food for two week and neither HiFi corp. nor Defy demonstrated any sense of urgency to this matter. They are very quick in making the sale, however after sales leaves much to be desired form both companies.
I had simply been told by Defy to wait until a technician is in my area. So herewith my warning when dealing with either HiFi Corp or Defy products, buyer beware, after sales is basically a joke.

Placed the order on the 24th
No follow up... " ready to pick " that's all it says, agent could not pick up my order via order number.
After giving the Billing and shipping details: All I get is:
The order is delayed as delivery is 3-6working days, status is still on ready to pick.
Please allow us to log a complaint on your behalf. Once the complaint has been logged you will receive a reference number via email. Within 24hrs of the complaint been logged you should receive a favorable response. If you have not yet received any response after the 24hrs, please feel free to come back online and ask for me so that we can follow up on the complaint for you.
It is litrely like they don't give a **** about the order but they have your money all ready.
The idiot corresponding on the chatbot has the brain capacity of a bot PERIOD

kindly note i have been having problems with Packard bell flex laptop that i bought this year January. this time will be the second time am bringing it to be fixed.
my biggest problem is my kid uses it for home schooling and every time when we have low shedding it only last for 10 minutes and it goes off even if it was fully charged. my kid has lost 15 days of school due to this problem. i bought the laptop at Carnival Mall on the 17th of January 2021 but since it has been a nightmare. can i be allowed to exchange the laptop as fixing it does not help me and my child is frustrated due to this.
again for me to be informed that it takes 21 days for it to be fixed is not good enough as my child cannot stay that long missing school. i have taken again the laptop for fixing and hopefully i will be given an opportunity to choose another laptop even if i add more on top its fine.
